POWTOWN Cyclocross Classic

Cyclocross in Powell River! September 22nd. Willingdon Beach Park.

What is Cyclocross?

“In other words, it’s the perfect spectator sport and plenty of fun for all. If you ask us, cyclocross is also the most inclusive type of bike racing there is, and perfectly represents the Powtown vibe. Don’t want to race? Come down and cheer or heckle. Or see if you can get the racers to accept a gift (referred to as a “hand-up”) while they ride past. Think marshmallows, Twizzlers, cookies, or cups of mysterious liquid. Fast or slow, serious or silly, there’s something in cyclocross for you.”
