Duck Lake XC - Island Cup

When: May 19th 2024

Where: Duck Lake, Powell River

Registration:  https://islandcupseries.com/cross-country/

Welcome to the qathet Regional District!

We would like to acknowledge that we are holding this event on the traditional territory of the Tla'amin Nation. We are extremely excited to bring Island Cup racing to our amazing trails. Like other communities, we have seen growth in our mountain bike community. This race, and these trails are the result of an amazing community of volunteers. Some are cyclists, some are not, but they are all hard-working people who give hours upon hours of time to maintain these trails. Thank you to everyone who has helped to get this event off the ground. To those of you who have come from out of town, we all know the effort that it takes to come to our community. The ferries are a huge hurdle for all of us. Thank you for making the effort to come to our race.

The route is fun, very fun! A tricky climb will reward you with a ton of fast rolling singletrack!

The rest of this document will give you info on race package pick up, the race course, maps and ferry logistics. If you have any questions, please to not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks again for coming to the Duck Lake XC!
